Clients have the legal and ethical right to confidentiality. This means the information shared in therapy will be kept within the context of therapy, except where law or ethics mandates otherwise (as will be discussed in your initial assessment). You must sign a consent to release information before information about you can be released to other people or institutions not covered under the mandates of law or ethics.

Payment is due at the time of service and will be made via Ivy Pay, a HIPAA compliant mobile payment processing platform. Accepted forms of payment include credit cards, debit cards, FSA or HSA.

Session fees are $175 per hour for standard therapy services. Aviation professionals and FAA-referred clients pay $225 per therapy hour due to specialized compliance requirements, enhanced documentation, and coordination with aviation medical professionals. Fees and consent requirements will be confirmed and discussed during your initial consultation.

I do not accept insurance at this time. Although I am not on any insurance panels, I will be happy to provide a monthly superbill for you to submit to your insurance company, at your request.

There’s no standard timeline for therapy – it’s as individual as you are and depends entirely on what you hope to achieve. Crisis situations or specific skill-building might require shorter-term work (8-20 sessions), while deeper personal growth, trauma and addiction recovery, or relationship patterns may benefit from longer-term therapy. Most people begin experiencing some positive shifts within the first month, with more significant changes developing over 3-6 months of consistent work. We’ll work together to establish clear goals and regularly assess your progress, adjusting our timeline based on your needs. You’re always in control of when you feel ready to reduce frequency or conclude therapy.

The best preparation is simply showing up as you are – there’s no “right” way to do your first session. That said, some clients find it helpful to think about what brought them to therapy and what they hope to accomplish, even if those goals feel unclear or change over time. Our first session is really about getting to know each other and creating a comfortable space for you to share what feels important. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your situation and explain how we might work together. Remember, you can share as much or as little as feels comfortable – we’ll have plenty of time to explore things at your pace.

Please print and complete your new client forms for your first session.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Texas. License Number 201348. Additionally, I am a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT), and have received specialized training in sex addiction, trauma, and relationships. Read my About Me page for more information.

I do not prescribe medication, but can give you a referral to a psychiatrist should you and I feel this would better your situation, in addition to therapy.

In the case that your needs are better served elsewhere, I will share my perspective on the situation with you. I will then provide you with other counseling referrals that may better serve you, if you would like them.

You are responsible for attending your scheduled appointments. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice prior to your appointment time. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee, except in cases of genuine emergencies. This policy helps ensure consistent availability for all clients and covers the reserved time that cannot be offered to others on short notice.
